Sunstone
Luxury Hotels Developer
Challenge
The client was over budget on a renovation of the public areas of their Washington, DC hotel and needed to significantly reduce material costs without compromising on quality or design intent.
Solution
We identified a travertine quarry in Peru meeting both price and quality requirements. Our stone expert oversaw the entire selection process on-site. Slabs were split directly at the quarry and the ready-to-use product was coordinated, shipped, and stocked by Adorare until delivery to jobsite.

Four Seasons Hotel
Via Top Tile, Flooring Contractor
Challenge
The designer had a specific concept for the guest bathroom walls but could not find a product that met the design intent within budget. A custom-made 4"×4"×4" ceramic triangle was required — a specialty item not available through standard supply channels.
Solution
We assessed the request and identified a specialty factory in Spain as the right manufacturer. Items were developed in the factory lab, master samples were submitted for designer approval, and production was executed once approved. Materials were shipped directly from Spain to the flooring contractor's warehouse.
Result
Designer and Ownership both approved — concept delivered on budget.
We are currently assisting the flooring contractor with two additional significant projects in the Orlando area.
The Prime Company
Nationwide Building Company
Challenge
The client was purchasing a 9" porcelain hex from a Spanish manufacturer and a ceramic 4×8 from an Italian manufacturer — both at market rates through existing supply chains.
Solution
We sourced equivalent products from specialized factories in Vietnam and Spain, matching all technical specifications while significantly reducing unit costs. We managed the full supply chain from both factories, delivering direct to jobsite.
Result
$135k saved — 45% reduction from previous costs.
After seeing the results, Prime Company now uses Adorare for all procurement. We are currently serving them on a hotel-to-residential conversion in San Diego, CA.
EOA Design for Andaz Hotel
South Beach, Miami
Challenge
The designer wanted to recreate the atmosphere of Mediterranean fish markets with an artistic, original touch. The challenge was to achieve a mural with a hand-painted effect at an acceptable cost — initial estimates were in the range of several tens of thousands of dollars.
Solution
We identified an innovative digital printing technology that allows high-resolution images to be printed directly onto ceramic surfaces. By combining this technology with traditional handmade ceramics, we achieved the hand-painted aesthetic the designer envisioned. Materials were shipped directly from origin to jobsite.
Result
Project cost contained to ~$10,000 — a fraction of initial estimates.
The result perfectly captured the Mediterranean fish market atmosphere the designer had envisioned, satisfying both the creative brief and ownership's budget requirements.
